Our Mission
The foundation's mission is to support and enhance the educational experiences of the Gettysburg elementary, middle, and high schools by fulfilling academic and operational needs that are not met by taxpayer funds or other services.
Our Vision
We strive for the Gettysburg School District to continue to be a beacon of education where students become lifelong learners who lead with integrity and purpose. We envision graduates who pair academic excellence with ethical leadership to positively transform their communities.

Our Timeline
Years 1-2
Work on establishing the Foundation as a 501c3 nonprofit organization and set up ways to accept donations. Create mailers, a website, social media presence and a database of alumni and locals to inform of our activities. Hold fundraising events and raise money to get the Foundation started.
Years 3-4
Expand fundraising efforts and opportunities through management of funds and continuing to find ways to raise money throughout the year. Encourage community involvement and strengthen Battler Pride.
Year 5 & Beyond
The Foundation’s goal is to build an endowment that will offset additional tax burdens and, hopefully, eliminate the need for opt-out resolutions in the future.
